Is it better to do more reps or have better form?

Most fitness programs have a timer and the aim is to do as many reps as possible in that time. This is great for pushing to our limits but it can lead to injuries for people that aren't fitness experts, it puts quantity first and doesn't put focus on good technique and let's be honest most people just want to get fit and stay fit and not be grunting and shouting at home.

DanceToned is different - rather than doing as many reps as possible in a set time we use music and follow the beat. This is just like when Dancers use music to dance. Here we are just using fitness moves instead of dance moves. Keeping up with the music allows for safe movement. If we want you to push harder we choose a fast music track, we use the music mood and tempo to set the workout speed and intensity.
